Our Action Plan
We have activated our safety response teams since the outbreak of the pandemic, and have solid procedures, reliable infrastructure and committed support staff in place.
All our staff have been thoroughly trained on critical prevention and preparedness measures. They range from sanitation steps including increased washing and sanitizing frequency to instructions on how to treat suspected or confirmed Covid – 19 Our Commitment cases and, if necessary, outlet lock-downs in collaboration with local authorities for quarantine purposes.
Government & Health Authorities
We liaise with governments and follow their directives to implement new precautionary measures for health and safety, as well as to use our technology and platforms to inform and raise awareness about these acts.
Health & Safety
It is important to note that relevant authorities around the world (WHO, Pakistan Govt.) accept that no proof exists that food is a source or transmission path for COVID-19 contracting. How we are doing in terms of additional precautionary steps, however, does include but is not limited to:
- We are providing our riders with protective gear and hand sanitizers to be used at every collection and drop off point, as well as using our technology and channels to educate and frequently remind them they adhere to strict personal hygiene standards whilst handling orders at both collection and drop-off points.
- We are closely cooperating with our partner restaurants to ensure they continue to operate in a safe kitchen environment.
- For customers, we have added more free delivery options to support nearby restaurants and introduced contactless deliveries.
- When placing an order, you can ask us for contactless, which allows for a contactless delivery.
- This means that our rider will connect with you before placing and leaving your order by your door.
We are continuously monitoring the ever-changing circumstances surrounding the coronavirus on an ongoing basis and go above and beyond to keep you, our visitors, staff, delivery team and offices safe. It is our mutual duty to maintain a healthy and clean environment and we urge everyone to practice personal hygiene-whether at home or out and about.
